    LoL Jungle Pathing Guide
    — Efficient Clear Routes 2026

Full clear vs 3-camp gank paths, blue side vs red side starts, smite timing and how to read the map for early pressure. Answer above the fold.

    Last updated: May 2026 · Patch 26.10 · Ranked Emerald+
    ⚡ Instant Answer
    Best Default Jungle Path
Full clear path (most junglers): Red Brambleback → Krugs → Raptors → Blue Sentinel → Gromp → Wolves → Scuttle Crab. This gives you Level 4 and a Scuttle fight with full health when done correctly. It is the safest default path that works on 80% of junglers.

3-camp gank path (high-pressure junglers like Vi, Elise, Jarvan): Red Brambleback → Krugs → Raptors → gank bot lane. You arrive at bot at Level 3 with Smite available. This sacrifices tempo for early kill pressure.

The single most impactful habit: Look at the minimap before every camp. If an enemy laner is overextending, skip the next camp and gank. The XP loss from one missed camp is always less valuable than a kill or summoner spell burn.

01 — Full Clear Path — Step by Step

The full clear gives you the most gold and XP before your first gank. It works best on scaling junglers (Karthus, Hecarim, Master Yi) or when no lanes are overextending early for a gank opportunity.

    CampLevel AfterSmite?Notes
Red Brambleback2Yes — use itAsk bot lane for a leash. Smite Red when it reaches 150HP to secure the buff and save health. Start with your E or Q ability at level 1.
Krugs2No — saveHit the big Krug first. It splits into smaller ones. AoE abilities clear this camp fastest. Takes more time than it looks — do not skip it early on; it gives high XP.
Raptors3No — saveKill the small Raptors first (they deal more damage combined). The large Raptor dies after the small ones are cleared. AoE clears this camp in seconds.
Blue Sentinel3No — saveAsk mid lane for a leash if available. Smite not needed unless you are low. Blue Buff mana regen is valuable — keep it if you use mana, trade it to mid if you do not.
Gromp4No — saveEasy clear. High XP for a solo camp. Always take this after Blue — it is one step away.
Wolves4No — saveKill big wolf first. Fast camp with good XP. Your Smite is recharged by now — use it on Scuttle.
Scuttle Crab4+Yes — contest itUse Smite to secure the Crab if contested. The vision shrine and speed boost from Scuttle is worth fighting for. Check if the enemy jungler might contest before committing.
    📌 Leash Etiquette
Always ask for leashes in champion select or at the start of the game. A good leash on Red or Blue saves 100-200 HP — the difference between showing at a gank healthy and showing in a state where you die during it. Ping your laners before you start camp to remind them.

    02 — 3-Camp Gank Path — Early Pressure

The 3-camp gank path sacrifices the full clear for an early Level 3 gank. Use it when a lane is already overextended at the start of the game, or when your jungler has strong Level 3 kill pressure (Vi, Jarvan IV, Elise, Lee Sin).

    CampThen
Red Brambleback→ Krugs → Raptors → Gank Bot Lane
Blue Sentinel→ Gromp → Wolves → Gank Top Lane

The red-side 3-camp path puts you at bot lane at Level 3 with Red Buff active — your slow or root makes the gank significantly easier. You will have Smite available for Scuttle after the gank if it goes quickly.

    ⚠ 3-Camp Gank Risk
If the gank fails — the enemy flashes or your laner does not follow up — you are now behind in XP and gold versus a full-clearing enemy jungler. Only take the 3-camp gank path when the lane setup clearly favours a successful gank: enemies overextended, your laner has CC, enemy Flash is on cooldown.

03 — Reading the Map Before Every Camp

The single most important jungle habit has nothing to do with mechanics — it is looking at the minimap before you start clearing each camp.

Before you begin your next camp, take 1 second to scan the minimap. Ask yourself: is an enemy laner overextended right now? If yes, what is the cost of skipping this camp versus showing that lane in the next 10 seconds? The XP value of any single camp is less than the value of a kill or burned Flash.

    Priority decision tree per camp:

    1. Is an enemy overextended within 15 seconds of walking time? → Gank, skip the camp.
    2. Is Dragon or Baron spawning within 90 seconds? → Finish camp, move toward objective.
    3. Is the enemy jungler visible on the opposite side of the map? → Counter-jungle their nearest camp.
    4. None of the above? → Clear the camp, check map again before the next one.

04 — Smite Timing — When to Use It

    SituationUse Smite?Reasoning
Red or Blue Buff — first clearYesSecure the buff and save HP for the clear ahead. The buff is worth more than Smite cooldown savings.
Krugs, Raptors, Gromp, WolvesNoThese camps do not run away and are not contested. Save Smite for objectives.
Scuttle CrabYes — if contestedSmiting Scuttle in a fight often secures it even if the enemy jungler is winning the 1v1.
Dragon / BaronYes — alwaysUse Smite at the moment the objective reaches approximately 900 HP. This requires practice to time correctly — it varies by game state.
Gank kill securesNo — almost neverSmiting a champion is not efficient unless you absolutely cannot reach them otherwise. Your jungler damage in a gank is usually enough without Smite.

    Fortnite Season Meta Guide 2026

The current best weapons, rotations, and strategies. Updated every major patch.

    Updated: May 2026
    Instant Answer
    What’s Meta Right Now?
The current meta favours aggressive close-range play. Shotguns and SMGs dominate final circles. Assault rifles are strong mid-range. Build/no-build split means two different metas — check both below.

    01 Top Weapons This Season

    • Shotgun: Pump-style shotguns remain king for one-shot potential
    • SMG: High fire-rate SMGs shred at close range
    • AR: AUG-style burst rifles are dominant at mid-range
    • Sniper: Bolt-action for picks, semi-auto for pressure

    02 Build Mode Meta

Box fighting and piece control remain the core skills. The meta rewards players who can edit-peek faster than opponents can react. Key items: shotguns, SMGs, minis, movement items.

    03 No-Build Meta

Positioning and natural cover are everything. Mid-range ARs and snipers have more value. Movement items (shockwaves, grapplers) are S-tier. Healing behind cover is the main survival strategy.

    04 Rotation and Positioning

Don’t rotate late. Move toward zone early using vehicles or movement items. High ground in final circles is the strongest position in both build and no-build modes.

The techniques and settings that separate fast editors from everyone else.

    Updated: May 2026
    Instant Answer
    The Fastest Editing Setup
Enable Edit on Release — this cuts one input from every edit. Bind edit to a key you can press without moving your hand (scroll wheel reset is essential). Practice triple-edit courses for 15 minutes daily.

    01 Enable Edit on Release

This is non-negotiable. Edit on Release removes the need to press confirm after making an edit. Every pro uses it. Go to Settings → Game → Edit on Release → On.

    02 Scroll Wheel Reset

Bind ‘Reset Edit’ to scroll wheel (up or down). This lets you reset edits instantly by flicking the wheel. The speed difference vs pressing a key is massive in box fights.

    03 Practice Routine

Spend 15 minutes daily in creative edit courses:

    • Minutes 1-5: Single tile edits (windows, doors, triangles)
    • Minutes 5-10: Double/triple edit sequences
    • Minutes 10-15: Edit + shoot combos (edit-peek-shoot-reset)

    04 Common Mistakes

    • Moving crosshair too far — edits need minimal mouse movement
    • Not resetting edits — leaves you exposed
    • Editing without a follow-up plan — always edit WITH purpose

Controller aim: Linear response curve, 6-8% deadzone, 30-40% look sensitivity, 25-35% aim sensitivity. Aim assist strength: 100% on console, 70-80% on PC with controller.

PC mouse: 400-800 DPI, 6-10% in-game sensitivity. The exact number matters less than finding one you can track with. Lower is generally more precise at range.

Edit sensitivity: 1.5-2.0x your look sensitivity. High edit speed is mechanical — practice it in creative, do not just bump the number.

Visual priority: Turn off motion blur entirely. Set view distance to Epic. Shadows off or low. Performance mode on PC if your frame rate dips below 60.

    01 — Controller Settings (PS5 and Xbox)

Controller settings matter more in Fortnite than in almost any other shooter because aim assist is a tunable mechanic, not a fixed feature. The right curve and sensitivity lets aim assist track properly. The wrong settings fight it.

    SettingRecommended ValueWhy
Input ModeControllerNever run mouse and keyboard settings on a controller — aim assist only applies in Controller mode.
Response CurveLinearExponential curves delay input at low stick deflection. Linear gives predictable 1:1 movement. Pro players almost universally use Linear.
Look Sensitivity30-40%High enough to turn quickly in builds, low enough to track at range. Start at 30 and raise by 2% until turning feels natural.
Aim Sensitivity25-35%Lower than look sensitivity. When you aim-down-sights you want slower, more precise tracking. A 5-10% gap between look and aim is standard.
L2/LT Deadzone6-8%Remove stick drift without killing responsiveness. If your character moves without input, raise by 2% until it stops.
R2/RT Deadzone6-8%Same logic. Consistent with left stick for muscle memory.
Aim Assist Strength100% (console), 75% (PC+controller)Full strength on console. PC players with controller often find 75-80% feels cleaner against mouse opponents at range.
Build Sensitivity Multiplier1.5-2.0xFaster look speed in build mode lets you place and edit without fighting your turn speed. Most players go 1.8x.
    🎮 Aim Assist Tip
Keep aim assist set to Precision type, not Default or Focusing. Precision activates when your crosshair is near a target and gives a stronger tracking pull — it is the most controllable type for players who aim intentionally rather than relying purely on stick drift into assist.

02 — PC Mouse and Keyboard Settings

    SettingRecommendedNotes
Mouse DPI400-800 DPILower DPI requires more physical mouse movement which increases precision. Most pro players use 400 DPI. 800 DPI is fine for players with less desk space.
In-Game Sensitivity (X/Y)6-10%At 400 DPI, 8% X/Y is a common starting point. Adjust until a full 180 degree turn requires approximately one full arm movement across your mousepad.
Targeting Sensitivity40-60%Multiplied against your base sensitivity when ADS. Lower values make long-range shots more precise. 50% is the most common competitive value.
Scope Sensitivity30-45%Even lower for scopes. Sniping requires fine adjustments — a slow scope is more accurate than a fast one.
Edit SensitivitySame as or slightly above look sensitivityUnlike controller, PC players often match or slightly exceed look sensitivity for edits since keyboard edits do not require stick movement.
    🖥 Performance Mode
If your PC drops below 60fps in late-game or during fights, enable Performance Mode under Video settings. It reduces visual quality significantly but your frame rate — and therefore your input response time — improves dramatically. Playing at 144fps on Performance mode beats 60fps on Epic quality every time in competitive contexts.

03 — Visual Settings — What to Turn Off

    SettingSet ToWhy
Motion BlurOFFObscures enemy positions during movement. No competitive benefit. Always off.
ShadowsOFF or MediumHigh shadows tank performance and can hide players in dark zones. Off gives cleanest visibility.
Anti-AliasingTSR or FXAATSR is best quality. FXAA if you need the performance. MSAA uses too much GPU for the benefit in this game.
View DistanceEpicThe only setting that directly affects whether you can see distant players. Never lower this.
TexturesLow or MediumTextures use VRAM not GPU. If you have 8GB+ VRAM, set to High. Otherwise Low has no competitive disadvantage.
3D Resolution100% or Render Scale 1.0Never lower below 100% — it blurs the game and makes enemies harder to spot. If performance is poor, lower other settings before touching this.
Colour Blind ModeDeuteranope or TritanopiaMany non-colour-blind players use these modes because they make enemy outlines and builds more visually distinct. Experiment regardless of your colour vision.

Best Fortnite Aim Assist Settings for Controller

The exact sensitivity and deadzone settings pros use. Stop losing aim duels.

    Updated: May 2026
    Instant Answer
    The Settings, Fast
Look Sensitivity: 44-48%. ADS Sensitivity: 38-42%. Deadzone: 5-8% (as low as possible without drift). Response Curve: Linear for most players, Exponential if you over-flick.

    01 Sensitivity — The Foundation

Most competitive controller players use 44-48% look sensitivity and 38-42% ADS. Higher isn’t always better — you need consistency. Start at 45/40 and adjust by 1-2% until tracking feels natural.

02 Deadzones — Lower Is Better

Deadzones determine how far you push the stick before input registers. Lower = more responsive. Set as low as possible without stick drift (typically 5-8%). Check with no input — if the crosshair drifts, raise by 1%.

    03 Response Curve

Linear: 1:1 stick-to-aim movement. More responsive but punishing if you over-flick. Most pros use this.

Exponential: Slower at small movements, faster at full push. More forgiving but slightly less responsive in close-range fights.

    04 Advanced Look Settings

Enable these for fine-tuned control. Key settings: Boost ramp time 0.0s (instant acceleration), boost 0% (consistent speed), instant boost disabled. This gives predictable aim at all ranges.

    The Fix in 30 Seconds
Use the summon signs. The Radahn fight has 8 NPC summon signs scattered around the battlefield. Summon every single one before engaging. This is not optional — the fight is designed to be fought with allies. Summons respawn after they die, so keep re-summoning throughout the fight.

Phase 1: Mount Torrent. Ride in a large circle around the battlefield to avoid the arrow volleys and gravity pulls. Close in on Radahn when he is occupied with your summons. Dismount to attack, remount immediately to dodge.

Phase 2 entry: When Phase 2 begins he launches into space and returns as a meteor. Run away from where he disappears. When the blue comet trail appears in the sky, sprint in any direction — do not stand still. The impact is survivable with decent HP but devastating if you are caught directly.

01 — Before the Fight — The Summon Signs

The Radahn battlefield is unique in Elden Ring — it has dedicated NPC summon signs for Alexander, Blaidd, Patches, Jerren, Millicent, Okina, and others. These are not optional. The fight was designed around the Festival of Radahn, where warriors come from across the Lands Between to battle him. Use them all.

Walk the battlefield before engaging Radahn directly and activate every glowing golden sign. Each NPC you summon draws aggro and deals damage. Even after they die mid-fight, the signs refresh — ride Torrent back to them and re-summon during Phase 1 if needed. Patches in particular is a reliable tank who survives long into the fight.

    🗡 Torrent is Mandatory
Summon Torrent before engaging. The opening of the fight involves Radahn firing massive gravity-infused arrows from his two greatbows at extreme range. On foot, these are nearly impossible to dodge consistently. On Torrent, you can outrun the tracking and circle him safely while your summons distract him.

    02 — Phase 1 Attack Guide

03 — Phase 2 — Meteor Entry and Comet Attacks

Radahn Phase 2 begins when his health reaches approximately 50%. He launches himself into the air and disappears. This is the most dangerous transition in the fight because many players stand still watching where he went.

Do not watch where he went. Run immediately. After a brief pause, a blue comet trail appears in the sky showing his return trajectory. He crashes into the earth and creates a massive explosion. If you are still near his departure point, you will be hit. Sprint on Torrent in any direction for at least 20 blocks.

In Phase 2 his sword attacks gain scarlet rot infusion — the same Scarlet Rot that appears in his lore. Hits from his blades can build Scarlet Rot status. Bring Preserving Boluses if you find yourself getting tagged by his melee attacks frequently.

    🔥 Phase 2 Strategy
Phase 2 Radahn is faster and more aggressive but the core strategy does not change — ride Torrent, use summons, attack in openings. Re-summon all NPC signs at the start of Phase 2 if your summons died. The summon signs refresh when Phase 2 begins. Four active NPCs in Phase 2 makes the fight significantly more manageable.

04 — Best Builds and Weapons

Bleed builds are the most efficient. Rivers of Blood or any bleed weapon with high attack rating can proc bleed twice in Phase 1 which takes off large chunks of health. Radahn has moderate bleed resistance — still effective, just not quite as dominant as against Malenia.

Strength builds work well because his large health pool rewards high per-hit damage. Greatswords and colossal weapons stagger him into critical hits more reliably than fast weapons with low poise damage per swing.

Sorcery and incantation users should maintain medium distance — far enough to cast safely, close enough that his ranged attacks are not the main threat. Stars of Ruin is particularly effective as it tracks even through his movement.

How to Beat Morgott, the Omen King

The Leyndell gatekeeper. Fast, aggressive, and punishes healing — here’s how to beat him.

    Updated: May 2026
    Instant Answer
    The Fast Answer
Morgott is fast but staggers easily. Aggressive melee with jump attacks triggers a critical hit window. In Phase 2 his sword gets golden rain — dodge away when he leaps, punish the recovery. Margit’s Shackle works in Phase 1 to stun him twice.

    01 Phase 1 — Aggression Wins

Morgott’s Phase 1 is nearly identical to Margit but faster. He mixes staff combos with dagger throws and holy daggers. The key: stay close and be aggressive. Jump attacks build stagger fast.

Margit’s Shackle still works here — use it twice in Phase 1 for free damage windows.

    02 Phase 2 — Golden Rain

At ~60% HP, Morgott powers up his sword with golden holy energy. His combo strings get longer and he adds an aerial slam with rain-down holy swords.

When he leaps into the air, dodge sideways. The rain attack covers the area he was targeting. Sprint away, then rush in during his recovery.

    03 Punish Windows

    • After his 3-hit sword combo — roll into the last hit, attack twice
    • After his thrust attack — he recovers slowly, 2-3 hits free
    • After his ground slam (Phase 2) — big recovery window
    • After using Margit’s Shackle — 3-4 free hits

    04 Recommended Level and Setup

Level 80-100 is comfortable. Bring a fast weapon for consistent staggers. Bleed works well. Summon Melina for extra damage — she’s available right outside the boss fog.
