The Fast Answer
Attack the left ankle (the one with the brace) in Phase 1. In Phase 2, stay behind him and hit his hands when he slams. Bleed builds make this fight significantly easier. Torrent is useful for closing distance but dismount for damage windows.

01 Phase 1 — Target the Left Ankle

The Fire Giant’s weak point in Phase 1 is his left ankle (the one with the wooden brace). Lock on to it and stay close. Roll through his stomps and swipes — they have generous i-frames.

When the ankle breaks (you’ll see him stagger), get aggressive with your strongest attacks. This phase transitions at roughly 50% HP.

02 Phase 2 — Stay Behind, Punish Slams

Phase 2 is more dangerous. He rolls around, casts fire, and does area attacks. Stay behind him as much as possible. His hand slams leave long recovery windows — sprint in and attack 2-3 times, then back off.

Warning
The fire orb rain attack has massive range. Sprint perpendicular to avoid it. Don’t panic roll — you’ll get clipped.

03 Torrent Usage

Use Torrent to close distance when the Fire Giant rolls away. Dismount before attacking for better DPS. Torrent is also useful for dodging the snow-plate attack — just gallop sideways.

04 Recommended Setup

  • Bleed weapons (Rivers of Blood, dual katanas with Seppuku) demolish this fight
  • Fire resistance is helpful but not mandatory
  • Alexander summon helps draw aggro in Phase 2
  • Bring Flame, Protect Me incantation if you have faith
